No, the option to get access to our alpha preview has closed as we're getting closer to our Steam release.

One main reason for alpha preview is to get early feedback from the community. We will always consider your input to shape a great game together.

At the moment only in English. We plan to add more languages by professional translators later, meanwhile there are community-driven crowd-translations available - but there is no guarantee of them being complete.

Absolutely! Feel free to create any sort of content you like. You are also allowed to monetize the created content.

We designed the game in a way that modding is well supported. However at the start of alpha preview we only provide limited modding support, this will gradually get expanded by the upcoming updates.

The best way to report a bug is to head over to our discord server and tell us there.

To stay up to date with the development you may want to join our discord channel, sign up for the newsletter (we send emails very rarely and only to inform about big changes) or read our dev-blog.

No, but we assume it will stay in alpha preview between one and two years.

The price will increase when we feel that the changed amount of content justifies a price increase. We ultimately cannot tell when this will be the case. We will inform people a couple of weeks before an upcoming price change so that you can get it before that.

No internet connection is required for single player mode. Multiplayer can be played via local network or internet.

Yes.

Not at the moment. Due to how the game internally works this is not going to boost performance, however we understand the desire for having always-online servers, so we plan to add it at some point.

Windows 10, 64 bit.
Our community has played the game on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Linux with Proton, but these are not officially supported and we cannot give technical assistance in case of bugs, crashes or other issues.

Our current focus is PC/Windows, but we are thinking about porting the game to other platforms, especially Mac/Linux.

Not at the moment, there are a lot of hotkeys and usability/comfort functions that are hard to port to a controller, but we might add controller support at one time.

No and at the moment there are no plans of adding it.

No.

8GB RAM
DirectX 11 compatible GPU with 2GB VRAM - GeForce GTX 750TI or equivalent
Quad Core 2.3GHz+ processor
1024x768 screen resolution
4 GB of disk space
Windows 10, 64-bit
Please note that this is a game that can be played endlessly and expanding your factory beyond average size will require better hardware.

To be determined. As this game is under development the recommended system requirements are not yet finalized.

%USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/MederDynamics/Foundry/save
Depending on your operating system hidden folders need to be visible to access this location.

The host needs to allow connections through the port he chooses to host the game. The host might have given you the incorrect IP address, the host can find out his public IP through sites like whatsmyip.com. In case your host changed the default port you as well need to change it at the “Join Server” menu.

We will provide our alpha preview buyers access on Steam when we launch there, but we don't know how the process will work exactly, as we have to prevent fraud and key-selling. It might be the case that you need to create a custom account at our homepage and link it to your Steam account, this is not decided yet. The process shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes.
